General Information
Our Bali silver beads and silver jewelry are manufactured from solid sterling silver. We do not use silver plating.
Pure silver is relatively soft, very malleable and easily damaged. For these reasons, it is usually combined with other metals to become more durable. We combine pure silver with copper, which lends strength without changing silver jewelry's color. This combination, which usually consists of a 92.5 percent silver and 7.25 percent copper ratio, is most commonly referred to as 925 sterling silver.
Our Balinese artisans produce all their work by hand. While our jewelry is based upon designs which we have devised ourselves we are always happy to produce items designed by our customers as "made to order" items. We attempt to increase our range of designs overall by at least 100 per month.

Our minimum order is 20 pieces/pairs per design for items priced by piece and 250 grams per design for Bali beads and chains. Minimum amount is US$ 250 (exclude shipping cost)

Then you will receive your Pro-forma invoice which outlines net weight, gross weight, cost of silver order, time of expected delivery, and cost of freight to your door. (C&F)
It is necessary to supply an address which can be used by courier service delivery for door to door transactions. PO Box addresses will not be accepted. It is essential to include your telephone number.

We ship your order with Priority service and . Please find the shipping rates to your country (USA and Canada) at Freight Cost section on our site. Please feel free to contact us for a comprehensive shipping rate for other countries. Delivery schedule 3-5 Days (USA Region) and 5-7 Days (Europe Region). FedEx offers a guarantee delivery time and they will refund your shipping cost in case of late delivery.
As Bali is a distance from most of our markets and the cost of freighting is considerable we suggest you always buy make sure that the cost of your silver order is greater than the freight cost. In order to ensure this it is a rule of thumb that your purchase of silver should be greater than US$ 500 in value.

Delivery Time
All products are made to order as we do not keep stock lots on hand. What is certain is that the size of your order will partly determine the delivery date. As a rule of thumb allow 14 to 30 days from the time of receipt of your deposit moneys for the completion of your order. Note on Stones Used
In our catalogue we have been quite specific about the stones used and their costs. If you wish to substitute other stones in an item please be accurate in your description.
A change in stones can mean a change in price because stone prices vary according to quality. We will notify you at the time of ordering of such price differences. Our carved bone items are made from cow bone. This material is strictly a by-product. In Indonesia, when an animal is killed for food, every part of it is used, including the bones.

Salt water, chlorine in swimming pool, soap and perspiration can easily ruin the beauty of the silver jewelry. Therefore, maintaining your beautiful silver jewelry is very important. It is best if you, periodically, clean and polish you silver jewelry using silver polish or polishing cloth made for silver jewelry. CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN
"Certificate of Origin" (COO.) is an official declaration issued by the Indonesian Customs and available only upon REQUEST. Cost US$ 25 for each shipment. Do you need a COO.? Some countries have trade agreements with Indonesia that entitles orders shipped with COO to a LOWER import duties. We recommend to call FedEx for additional information.

Disclaimers
Our silver jewelry is all handcrafted and we guarantee the quality of our workmanship. As all handmade items, there may be very modest variations among the pieces within each style in appearance, size, weight, and degree of antiquing and oxidation. We cannot guarantee that each item will identical with another item which bears the same catalogue number.
We will accept any defective piece of our jewelry. You may return the merchandise back to us no longer than 7 days upon received date. Merchandise must be in original condition and packed properly. SSS Silver is not responsible for postage on returned items.
We will replace any items found to be faulty or damaged with similar items or you are welcome to purchase new items. Please allow 2 up to 3 weeks for us to either fix or re make the defective jewelry. The bottom line of our business practice is mutual respect and trust.
